Re: History in the Making?

Posted by Thomas Baker in World Series of Poker on July 7, 2006

Phil Hellmuth and the online kid are still duking it out. And the kid seems to be playing with reckless abandon, which has Phil a little flummoxed. The enormous crowd — stacked 20 rows deep in some spots — seems split, half of them cheering for Hellmuth, half of them booing.

As it stands now, Jeff Cabinilla — not sure how old he is, 20something for sure — has about a 3:1 chip advantage.

UPDATE: Cabinilla wins! Hellmuth looks to be in total despair, then a few minutes later, graciously accepts defeat.

Hopefully I don't play guys like Phil Hellmuth and Mike Matusow
I caught the poker bug at my local pub but now I’m going to the WSOP
