Congrats to Mike O’Malley (and, of course, Sammy Farha)

Posted by Thomas Baker in World Series of Poker on July 11, 2006

It must’ve been a good table … because Party’s poker-room manager Mike O’Malley finished in an admirable 19th place (out of 265) in the $5,000 Omaha hi-lo event. His payout: $7,473. Not a bad two-days work.

Sammy Farha, however, did a little better — particularly for a guy who’s Omaha prowess is in the pot-limit variety, as opposed to Omaha 8-or-better (aka hi-lo … a limit game). He got 1st place … taking home $398,560.
