Big winners and lucky losers

Sunday’s supposed to be a day of rest, but at PartyPoker.com we reckon you’d just be wasting a day. After all, when we run the $300K Guaranteed Sunday every week, why would you want to be resting when you could be playing for serious cash?

Even the losers get in on the money action at PartyPoker.com, as last week our Bad Beat Jackpot got hit not once but twice in the space of three hours.
The big winner was player Xtrebet10 who walked away with a cool $213,130.31 when he “lost” at one of our Bad Beat Jackpot tables and the jackpot itself stood at $608,942.
Xtrebet10 has only been a PartyPoker.com player since August but is obviously one to keep an eye on as he’s also a serious cash game player.
Just three hours after Xtrebet10’s big moment, player Shvonder5 picked up $43,756.07 from the Bad Beat Jackpot for his hard-luck story. A few hours earlier and it could have been a lot different for Shvonder5 (four-times the difference, in fact), but with our Bad Beat Jackpot tables at least we always soften the blow.
