Hi,

I have been having a lot of problems with Party Poker since this latest upgrade. The software has been crashing and shutting down 5/6 times a day since this upgrade with error message 'PartyGaming MFC Application has stopped working'. I have never had a problem before with the software apart from the odd disconnections. My cursor often changes to the 'hourglass/thinking/processing' icon, or whatever its called, constantly as if it is really struggling.

I emailed your support and they suggested uninstall and re-install, this didn't work, then they actually rang me to talk me though it again but to also delete the reg keys/edits, this didn't work. I have now emailed again and am awaiting reply.

I have noticed on the 2+2 forums people are saying similar things. I play on Party about 9 hours a day so this crashing is getting extremely annoying. I love playing on Party but don't know how much more of this I can take. My laptop is fairly new also, so this shouldn't be the problem. This problem has only started since the last upgrade which was about a week ago.

The support have said that they haven't been getting many complaints about this. I have Vista by the way.

Please could you help with any advice or things I could try to stop this happening.

Thanks in advance,

Al

The software is great and i enjoy playing the real money games on Party. But sometimes it's good to kick back with some friends and play the play money tables, but it's also a little frustrating due to the restricted low buyins available on the play money tables. I really wish Partypoker would include a play table with 1 million buyins, or larger, and actually i wonder why there are 5c/10 and 10c/25c no-limit tables surely these could be easily upgraded without to much work. I really hope it can be looked at, it's the only thing i dislike.
Cheers

She certainly is! Jennifer Tilly has already knocked out pre-tournament favourite Tom 'Durrrr' Dwan and is now 3-handed with Sammy George and Neil Channing. Their heat returns this afternoon, stay tuned over at twitter.com/partypokernews for the latest news

Great to see PartyPoker.com represented so well by Australia's Stewart Scott. Crown Casino's Aussie Million's 2010 is also going to be huge. Go Aussie Go.

Apologies for the delay Ron. Have you resolved the issue? If not when you login choose the options tab and then you can decide between the new table and the classic table. Lets me know if you have any further problems.
