19:00: The bubble has burst!

Both Frederik Jensen and Tyron Krost will join Annette Obrestad, Kosmas Drastas, Sorel Mizzi Steven Friedlander and Stephen Shelley.

Our Party Poker qualifiers have proven they have what it takes to go all the way – tomorrow is set to be extremely exciting.

All thats left now is for the players seats to be drawn for tomorrows final table:

And so until tomorrow….

The set

18:00: Tension is really mounting here in Studio 3 inside the Crown Casino, Melbourne.  Out of 746 players, only 9 remain in the Aussie Millions 2010.  In 11th place was Dan Shak, taking with him a healthy $100,000 cash prize.  Not bad considering he swooped a staggering $1,200,000 in the $100,000 event earlier in the week. Jens Kerper was the most recent to leave in 10th place.

Party Poker qualifiers Frederik Jensen and Tyron Krost continue to ride the wave of success, both determined to make it the final 7 and so to return tomorrow on day 5 for the final table.

feature table 3

WOW – Tyron just doubled his chips against Stephen Shelly and is now at $1,900,000.  Frederik is at $2,200,000.  Our two Party Poker qualifiers are at the top of their game right now!

Watching from the gallery, both Mum and friends recently  arrived from Sydney are at the edge of their seats watching their guys on the feature table go from strength to strength in this long and gruelling game.

As the players continue to fight for the big money, the production crew  work hard behind the scenes. Its a good bunch of people  here and after 7 days of working so close, we are all one big happy family! It will be strange to go back to normal life after 14 hour days inside a dark room with poker being the ONLY topic of conversation.

15.30: There are now only 13 players left, battling it out for the massive $2,000,000 prize.  Party Poker qualifiers Frederik Jensen and Tyron Krost are still strong in the race and proving themselves as very strong contenders for the top prize.  Frederik Jensen currently has a stack of $1,800,000 and Tyron is still steady with $853,000. Both players are still in the spotlight on the feature table with Annette Obrestad (currently holding $2,000,000) and Stephen Shelley (with $985,000).

The atmosphere in the studio is electric as more supporters join the audience to witness the excitement.

12.30: 18 players remain in the Aussie Millions and as Day 4 kicks off, our 2 x remaining Party Poker qualifiers have taken their places side by side on the feature table, starting with stacks of $1,100.000 for the great Dane Frederik Jensen and $953,000,000 for Sydney sider Tyron Krost.

Both Frederik and Tyron told me they were feeling well and rested this morning after what was yet another long and gruelling day of play yesterday.

Neither players are lacking in support today….

Frederik’s mum Anne Marie, has been watching from the side line’s since Day 1.  When asked if she was enjoying the experience she said yes but that she had been unable to sleep with nerves.  Frederik on the other side seems to be taking it all in his stride and has managed to recharge fully after each day of play.  This is the first event Anne Marie has attended with Frederik, she was invited as a birthday treat after recently turning 60.  Lets hope that her birthday wish comes true this year and Frederik goes all the way to the final table making both his Mum and Party Poker very proud.

Catching all the action from the gallery.

Tyron’s friends are flying in from Sydney today to show their support.  Now sat on the feature table for the first time of the tournament.   Tyron is not new to playing in live tourneys and previously cashed in at WSOP in 2008.

Tyron stays focused.
